Goats will eat just about anything, which makes them a great resource for clearing land, removing invasive species, eliminating unwanted brush and weeds. This is all done in a safe way, free of pesticides. We deliver the goats to you, and work to create an area where the goats can safely graze (using an electric fence). From there, the goats get to work!
Our herd of goats are called Kikos. We prefer them because they are parasite resistant, good foragers, easygoing, friendly, and known for their hardiness in all climates.
We are committed to working with the property owners to ensure their needs are addressed, and expectations exceeded. While we are based out of Rhode Island, we service much of the Northeast.
Whether you are new to livestock or have been working with animals for a long time, we can help! Certain situations call for different species. We can help with animal health, genetic selection, fence consulting, and facility management and design.
Through the use of a rotational grazing plan, we are able to provide great forage for your livestock, improve the health of the soil, while also reducing the amount of noxious and invasive plants in an environmentally friendly way. We will work with you to create a grazing plan that suites your needs and land capabilities. Using regenerative practices, we can formulate grazing rotations that keep the animals well fed, and your land healthy.
What do we mean when we say soil health? Healthy soil is crucial for productive agriculture, clean air and water, and overall environmental health. It's about the soil's ability to function as a vital living ecosystem that sustains plants, animals, and humans, while performing essential functions like regulating water, filtering pollutants, cycling nutrients, supporting plant and animal life, and preventing soil degradation.
